The new Notes feature on Instagram is getting bigger. With it, you can send your closest friends text-based Stories.
Instagram has been trying out a lot of changes and new features for its app. From hiding naked people in chats to removing the Store and returning to the previous interface. Today, on the other hand, is a step backwards. When BlackBerry Messenger and MSN Messenger status updates were popular online.
XDA Developers is the first place to report that Instagram is working on a feature similar to this one, but it’s called “Notes” instead of “Notes.” So, you’ll be able to update your status outside of Instagram Stories by clicking on a bubble that says “What’s on your mind?” But, like this popular feature, your Notes will only be visible for 24 hours, and your followers will be able to send you messages in response.
You could also think of this as a text version of Instagram Stories, if you like. Obviously, this feature’s ability to communicate is much more limited, and it would be used to tell you about specific situations. For instance, if you are busy or if you are free to talk. But if it goes the same way as the BBM and MSN Messenger states, we’ll probably see more song lyrics and hints than anything else.
When will the new feature of Instagram be out?
Some users who have updated to version 254.0.0.19.109 of the app can now see the state-inspired proposal. Some people won’t be able to enjoy it, though. After all, this is the testing phase, so it’s likely that Notes won’t be available to all users for a while.
How does Notes work on Instagram? Well, XDA Developers users say that you can find the new “Your Note” button in the Messages section. When you click on it, you’ll see a screen where you can choose who to share it with. Once you’ve done this, you can write the message and send it so your friends can see it.
So far, it seems like the feature works a lot like Stories. So, you can choose whether you want to share your Notes with people who follow you and the people you follow, or with your Best friends. Once you’ve told the chosen group what you’re thinking, they can respond as if it were a Story.
Keep in mind that Instagram Notes can only be so long. You can only share information that fits in 60 characters, so you won’t be able to share more than that.
Did we need Instagram Notes?
TechCrunch shared a report that was different from what Instagram said. Even though he doesn’t say when Notes will be available everywhere. He says, “We’re always thinking of ways to help you make better Instagram connections. We’re testing Notes right now so that people can quickly share their thoughts with their friends and with us “to start, a small group.
Does this job really need to be done? When it comes to Instagram Stories, they don’t seem to have much of a reason to exist. But the social media market is focused on keeping people using their apps to share and consume information, so it looks like Instagram is doing well in this way.
