Often happens that you have a new iPhone with one of the best screens in the business. However, the brightness of the screens usually surprises you. In intense sunlight, it’s hard to view the iPhone screens. It’s not your iPhone, and it’s not an issue for you: it’s a terminal safety measure.
More brightness means more risk
A screen that is very bright also gives off heat, and since it’s summer, we know what it means the iPhone gets too hot. When the phone’s sensors detect that the temperature has reached a certain level, one of the things it does is lower the brightness of the screen so that it stops giving off so much heat.
Because of this, it’s hard to see the iPhone screen in direct sunlight when there’s a heat wave. And even more if you put it in a cover, which makes it harder for the heat that has built up inside to escape.

Is there anything we can do to stop this? You can get rid of this effect by turning off the iPhone’s automatic brightness, which you can do in the Accessibility section of Settings.
If you turn off the automatic brightness, you can change it as you like. However, the system already warns you that using it too much can hurt the screen’s performance and even the battery in the long run. Because of this, I suggest you use it when you need to see something important on the screen.
